俳優黒部進さんの故郷は、自然のダイナミズムが舞い踊る水の都

俳優黒部進さんの故郷は、自然のダイナミズムが舞い踊る水の都

30年前、ともにアフリカ大陸を横断した仲間隊長の愛車に黒部さんが乗る

黒部市と聞けば、まず頭に浮ぶのは「クロヨンダム」こと黒部ダムでしょう。昭和３８年、日本一深い黒部渓谷に日本で最も高い１８６ｍのダムが完成した。エコ・ミッションの映像を担当している松前カメラマンが、ダム建設を映画化した「黒部の太陽」を撮影した。当時、石原裕次郎と三船敏郎という大スターの競演で映画界が沸きあがったことも思い出されます。だが、ボクにとってどうしても黒部市を訪れたかった理由は、俳優の黒部進さんの故郷だからです。黒部進さんは、あのウルトラマンの初代ハヤトで有名ですが、最近では愛娘の女優、吉本多香美さんのお父さんとしても知られています。

実は３０年前、黒部さんと松前さんとボクはアフリカ大陸を横断した仲間でして、偶然ですが黒部さんが故郷黒部市に里帰りしているというので黒部市を訪ねました。まったく私事で「エコミッション」を動かしてすいませんが、今回は見逃してください。

黒部さんは、わずか２日間の里帰りで、富山市ではシンポジューム、黒部市で料理教室、文化センターでの理事会議と過密スケジュールの合間を縫って黒部さんはボクたちに時間をくれました。「ヤー横ちゃん、マッチャン、元気だった。ボクが何か手伝う事あったら言ってよ」数年ぶりの同窓会が実現して感激です。そこで、黒部川と共に生活する市民の素顔を俳優、黒部進さんに紹介してもらうことにしました。

かつて暴れ川といわれた黒部川河口近くでも大きな石がゴロゴロしている

黒部さん「市民と水に関しては、友人の長谷川さんが詳しいし、川とのかかわりは黒部川水のフェステイバル実行委員会の中島さんだろうな」

お二人を伴って黒部川河畔に立つ。

黒部さん「この川は地元では暴れ川といってね、子供の頃から近寄るなって言われていたんだ。」

長谷川さん「源流から河口まで８５キロしかないんです。ですから水が急勾配を激流となって下ってきます。他の川のように釣りだカヌーだと遊べなかった」。

中島さん「河口でこんな大きな石がゴロゴロしてる川はほかにないでしょ。大雨の日には激流の中で石がぶつかる音が街でも聞こえます。火花が見える時も有るんですよ」

そんな、恐ろしい「暴れ川」も自然界の一場面としてとらえ、住民は川に触れ合おうとしています。黒部市では暴れ川から水を引き、運河で魚の逃げ道を確保して周りに緑地帯を造りました。子供たちは初めて川の水に触れるようになりました。今では黒部川を「暴れ川」と呼ぶことはありません。それどころか中島さんや長谷川さんたち市民が中心となって年に一回開催される、「黒部川　水のフェステイバル」に４０００人も参加するそうです。

長谷川さんは、川に流れ着く「流木」をリサイクルをかねて流木アート展を開催、フェスティバルに親子で出展するのを楽しみにしているそうです。中島さんのフェスティバル実行委員会では、子供たちに河原の石に自由な発想でペイントさせて壁を造っています。

中島さん「６年間かけて石のタイムカプセルを、次世代に残そうと思います。」

自然は身体で感じなければ「共生」は出来ません。黒部さんはにっこり笑って婦人会の料理教室に出かけていきました。

ちょっと話が脱線しますが、ボクたちを案内してくれた長谷川さんは東洋ゼンマイ（株）の社長さんです。食べるゼンマイではありません、玩具なんかに使ってるゼンマイです。セルシオなんかの灰皿を押すと開くでしょ、あれはゼンマイ仕掛けなのだそうです。ゼンマイ仕掛けの動力は１５００年の歴史がある、いわゆるローテクですが、注目すべき21世紀型の動力ですから、長谷川さんの会社は有望株です。そうおもいませんか。

で、話は本線に戻って。

黒部川は「暴れ川」という反面、優しい顔を意外な姿で現します。河口の近く海に面した生地（イクジ）に不思議な湧き水が１８箇所もありました。海から１０ｍも離れていないのに前名寺では地下1.5ｍから清水がこんこんと湧き出ています。能登さんのお宅では地下水利用のルームクーラーがあり、７９歳になるご主人は「水道代は先祖代々払った事ないな」と、すべて自然に湧き出る清水ですむからです。町の中には湧き水の共同洗い場があって、湧き水が轟々と湧き出しています。本当に轟々流れ出ているンですヨ。海の中にも湧き水が出ているそうです。この不思議な現象は黒部川の激流が急勾配で流れ落ちて、地下水となって地底に蓄積されているそうです。１００年ほど地下で眠ったミネラル豊富な地下水が海水との圧力に押し上げられて生地に噴出しているそうです。驚きました。この町では清水が生活用水として止め処もなく使えるのです。町を流れる小川には鯉や川魚が群れ泳いでいました。これこそ、自然の恵みとしかおもえません。

「黒部の思い出」

あれは36年前のことだと思う。この黒部から宇奈月、黒四ダムへ入って行ったのは。念願がかない、劇映画「黒部の太陽」に助手とし参加できることが決まり、興奮してなかなか寝付けなかった宇奈月での宿を思い出す。

そして今日、黒部市で俳優の黒部進さんと久しぶりに会い、30年前一緒にケニヤにいたときのことを思い出す。黒部さんが助手席に座り、僕がハンドルを握り、夜中の草原を走っていたこと。動物がいっぱい寄ってきたこと。

「黒部の太陽」「黒部進さん」この２つの黒部は、30年以上たっても決して忘れられない思い出である。

Actor Susumu Kurobe's hometown was the capital of the water which natural dynamism dances.

If Kurobe-city is heard, the Kurobe dam will come into its mind first. The 186m highest dam in Japan was completed to the deepest Kurobe ravine in Japan in 1963. Mr. Matsumae who is taking charge of the image of Ecomission photoed "The Sun in Kurobe" which made a screen version of dam construction. It is also remembered that the contest of a top star called Yujirou Ishihara and Toshiro Mifune boiled and went up the motion-picture world those days. But, the reason I visited Kurobe-city is that this city is the hometown of the actor, Mr. Susumu Kurobe. Although Mr. Susumu Kurobe is famous for that Ultra-man's first HAYATO, he is known for recently also as the actress, Miss Takami Yoshimoto's father.

In fact, 30 years ago, Mr. Kurobe, Mr. Matsumae, and I are the friends who crossed the Africa continent. Since Mr. Kurobe had gone back to hometown Kurobe-city by chance, it called on this city.

Mr. Kurobe is the homecoming for only two days. Sewing symposium in Toyama-city, the cooking class in Kurobe-city, the director meeting in a cultural center, and the interval of an overcrowded schedule, Mr. Kurobe gave us time. The class reunion for the first time in several years was realized, and I have been moved deeply. I had an actor and Mr. Susumu Kurobe introduce the present situation of the citizen who lives with the Kurobe river.

Mr. Kurobe says."About a citizen and water, my friend, Mr. Hasegawa, is detailed. About relation by the river, Mrs. Nakajima of the festival executive committee of the Kurobe is detailed."
"Locally, this river is called "Abare-Gawa."

Mr. Hasegawa Says. "There exist only these 85km from the origin to a mouth of this river. Therefore, a rapid stream goes down by the steep slope."

Mrs. Nakajima says. "There is no other river on which such a big stone is tumbling about in the mouth of a river. The sound which a stone collides with in a rapid stream can be heard on the day of heavy rain. Sparks may be seen."

In Kurobe-city, water was led from this river, the escape way of a fish was secured at the canal, and the green belt was built around the river. It is said that no less than 4000 persons participate in "The Water Festival of Kurobe" held once for a year, not to mention it.

Mr. Hasegawa is holding the driftwood art exhibition for recycling of the "driftwood" which flows and arrives at a river. The wall in which children did paint to the stone of a dry river bed in the free way of thinking is built with the festival executive committee.

Mrs. Nakajima says. "I think that I will build the time capsule of a stone for six years and leave it to the next generation."

"Symbiosis" is impossible if nature is not felt corporally. Mr. Kurobe smiled sweetly and he went out for the cooking class in Kurobe-city.

The Kurobe river may express a field gentle to with an unexpected figure. In spite of not being 10m away from the sea, it boils from 1.5m below ground, and water is gushing in a certain temple. It springs in a town and there is a common washing place of water, it springs, and water is gushing and carrying out. It is said that it sprang also in the sea and water has come out. This wonderful phenomenon is because the rapid stream of the Kurobe river flows and falls by the steep slope, serves as groundwater and it is accumulated at depths of the earth. The groundwater with abundant minerals which slept underground about in 100 is made the pressure of sea water, and is blowing off to cloth. I was surprised. In this town, spring water can use it infinitely as raw practical use water. The flowing brook was crowded with a carp or river fish. This is just a natural blessing.
